National consumer price index in May 2010 – Prices fall by 0.1%

Neuchâtel, 08.06.2010 - (FSO) - The national consumer price index calculated by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) registered a decline of 0.1% in May 2010 and reached 104.6 points (December 2005=100). Year-on-year the inflation rate was 1.1%, compared with annualised rates of 1.4% in April 2010 and -1.0% in May 2009.
