Producer and Import Price Index in November 2015 – Producer and import prices increase compared with previous month

Neuchâtel, 15.12.2015 - (FSO) - The Producer and Import Price Index rose by 0.4% in November 2015 compared with the previous month, reaching 91.2 points (base December 2010 = 100). This was primarily attributable to higher prices for petroleum products as well as for chemical and pharmaceutical products, which are collected on a quarterly basis. According to the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products dropped by 5.5% year-on-year.
