Producer and Import Price Index in October 2015 – Index shows slight increase compared with previous month, year-on-year inflation -6.6%
Neuchâtel, 13.11.2015 - (FSO) - The Producer and Import Price Index rose by 0.2% in October 2015 compared with the previous month, reaching 90.8 points (base December 2010 = 100). The rise is due in particular to higher prices for machinery and watches, whereas prices for petroleum products fell. According to the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products dropped by 6.6% year-on-year.
