Producer and Import Price Index in September 2015 – Index falls slightly due to lower fuel prices

Neuchâtel, 13.10.2015 - (FSO) - The Producer and Import Price Index fell by 0.1% in September 2015 compared with the previous month, reaching 90.6 points (base December 2010 = 100). While the Producer Price Index remained, on average, unchanged, the Import Price Index fell by 0.2%, with crude petroleum and fuel in particular showing lower prices. According to the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products registered a drop of 6.8% year-on-year.
