Statistics on tourist accommodation in July 2015 – Overnight stays increase in July
Neuchâtel, 04.09.2015 - (FSO) - The Swiss hotel industry registered 4.1 million overnight stays in July 2015, which corresponds to a growth of 3.7% (+145,000 overnight stays) compared with July 2014. Domestic visitors recorded 1.8 million overnight stays, representing an increase of 4.0% (+67,000 overnight stays). Foreign demand registered 2.3 million overnight stays, i.e. an increase of 3.5% (+77,000 overnight stays). These are the provisional results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
