Producer and Import Price Index in June 2015 – Annual inflation at -6.1%

Neuchâtel, 14.07.2015 - (FSO) The Producer and Import Price Index fell in June 2015 by 0.1% compared with the previous month. While the Producer Price Index remained, on average, unchanged, the Import Price Index fell by 0.2%, with products made from aluminium and copper in particular showing lower prices. The index stands at 91.6 points (base December 2010 = 100). According to the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products dropped by 6.1% year-on-year, while that of the Import Price Index alone even fell by 10%.
