Swiss Labour Force Survey 2013 – A million people suffer health problems due to work

Neuchâtel, 30.06.2015 - (FSO) - In 2013, 6% of people who had exercised a professional activity during the previous 12 months had an accident at work and 11% of people interviewed said they suffered from a health problem caused or worsened by work. This represents more than a million people with a health problem caused by work. These estimates are based on the results published by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) of a module devoted to accidents at work and other work-related health problems.
