Employment barometer in 1st quarter 2015 – More jobs, drop in job vacancies
Neuchâtel, 26.05.2015 - (BFS) - The Federal Statistical Office's (FSO) quarterly indicators show employment growth of 0.8% in comparison with the same quarter a year earlier. The increase was once again mainly seen in the tertiary sector (+1.0%). Nevertheless, the number of job vacancies (-6.0%) and the employment outlook indicator (-1.5%) fell, while there was a slight increase in difficulty in recruiting personnel (+0.3%) compared with the same quarter of the previous year.
