Producer and Import Price Index in December and throughout 2014 – Falling index due to lower prices for petrol and petroleum products, average annual inflation for 2014 of -1.1%
Neuchâtel, 19.01.2015 - (FSO) - The Producer and Import Price Index calculated by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) fell in December 2014 by 0.4% compared with the previous month. The index stands at 96.1 points (base December 2010 = 100). A decline of 2.1% was recorded in comparison with the same month in the previous year. The annual average price level fell by 1.1% compared with 2013.
