Tourism accommodation statistics in November 2014 – Overnight stays remain stable in November 2014
Neuchâtel, 16.01.2015 - (FSO) - According to provisional results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), the Swiss hotel industry registered 1.9 million overnight stays in November 2014, which corresponds to a stable result (+447 overnight stays / no relative variation) compared with November 2013. Domestic visitors generated 870,000 overnight stays, i.e. a decline of 0.8% (-6700 overnight stays). Foreign visitors recorded 990,000 overnight stays, representing an increase of 0.7% (+7200 overnight stays).
