Swiss Consumer Price Index in August 2013 – Prices fall by 0.1%

Neuchâtel, 06.09.2013 - (FSO) - The Swiss Consumer Price Index calculated by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO) registered a decline of 0.1% in August 2013. It reached 98.9 points (December 2010=100). Compared with the same month in the previous year, the inflation rate was 0.0%, compared with annualised rates of also 0.0% in July 2013 and of -0.5% in August 2012.
