Farm structure census 2014 – Organic farming continues to grow
Neuchâtel, 11.08.2015 - (FSO) – According to the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), Switzerland had just over 54,000 agricultural holdings in 2014 (-2.1% compared with 2013) and a stable utilised agricultural area of around one million hectares. Organic farming continued to grow and has been adopted by more than 11% of holdings.
