Measures to improve the security of telecom networks in consultation
Bern, 3.12.2021 - On 3 December 2021, the Federal Council launched a consultation on measures to improve the security of telecommunication networks. The changes, which are proposed in an ordinance, will increase the protection of telecommunication installations against unauthorised manipulation and strengthen the security of 5G networks. The procedure for reporting disruptions will also be modified. The consultation will last until 18 March 2022.
