Household budget survey: results 2021 - Disposable income in 2021 almost unchanged at an average of CHF 6706 per month
Neuchâtel, 27.11.2023 - There were few changes in private household expenditure in Switzerland in 2021 compared with the previous year. As in 2020, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on consumption expenditure continued to be felt in 2021. The average disposable income of CHF 6706 per month was comparable to that of previous years. These are findings from the Household Budget Survey 2021 from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
