Groups with the highest turnover are majority foreign-controlled
Neuchâtel, 23.11.2023 - At the end of 2022, 61 870 enterprises in Switzerland were part of an enterprise group. They employed over 2 million people, which corresponds to more than 40% of the total number of jobs in the market economy sector. Within the category of the groups with the highest turnover, foreign-controlled multinationals had a dominant position. These are the latest results from the enterprise groups statistics of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
