Medical practices: one in four doctors aged 60 or over at the end of 2021
Neuchâtel, 10.10.2023 - At the end of 2021, there were 25 439 doctors working in medical practices and ambulatory centres in Switzerland. They represented 19 004 doctors in full-time equivalents. Just over one in four doctors was aged 60 or over. These are the latest findings from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
