Production in Switzerland's secondary sector fell by 1.3% in 2nd quarter 2023
Neuchâtel, 18.08.2023 - Secondary sector production declined 1.3% in 2nd quarter 2023 in comparison with the same quarter a year earlier. The ongoing increase in production seen since 1st quarter 2021 was thus interrupted. Turnover grew by 1.7%, with rising prices contributing to this increase. This is shown by provisional results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
