Producer and Import Price Index fell in May by 0.3%

Neuchâtel, 15.06.2023 - The Producer and Import Price Index fell in May 2023 by 0.3% compared with the previous month, reaching 109.1 points (December 2020 = 100). In particular, petroleum, natural gas and petroleum products saw lower prices. Electricity, on the other hand, became more expensive. Compared with May 2022, the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products also fell by 0.3%. These are the results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
