Switzerland is the country with the best self-rated health status in Europe

Neuchâtel, 11.05.2023 - Almost three quarters of the Swiss population felt happy most or all of the time in 2021. 3.9% rated their health as poor or very poor. This is fewer than in any other country in Europe. Both educational attainment and income influence physical and mental well-being. These are some of the findings from the Survey on Income and Living Conditions (SILC) conducted by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
