Positive impact on income and career for more than one in two graduates one year after completing professional education

Neuchâtel, 17.11.2022 - An improvement in both the labour market position and income are decisive factors in the choice of a professional education. Just one year after graduation, over half of graduates said that their professional education had positively affected their income and career prospects. Employers supported around 40% of professional education and training, assuming on average a quarter of the costs for courses, examinations and material. These are findings from the 2020 survey on professional education by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
