In 2020, e-books were used over 8.6 million times in libraries in Switzerland
Neuchâtel, 20.12.2021 - The 1499 publicly accessible libraries that were surveyed in Switzerland in 2020 kept 67.4 million printed documents. They recorded 40.2 million loans of physical media and 8.6 million uses of e-books. Over 8500 employees and 1700 volunteers worked in these establishments. These results are from the Swiss Library Statistics, with the revised survey carried out this year by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
