The pandemic is accelerating the use of e-government
Neuchâtel, 15.12.2021 - In 2021, 96% of people aged between 15 and 88 used the internet in Switzerland. More than half of people aged 75 and above used it daily. A comparison with the results for 2019 shows the contrasting effects of the pandemic. The increase in digitalisation is only shown for certain specific activities, in particular e-government. These are the main results from the latest Federal Statistical Office (FSO) survey of the population's internet usage.
