Disabled people are less satisfied with their quality of life at work
Neuchâtel, 29.11.2021 - Persons with disabilities participate widely in the labour market. In 2019, 72% of them did so. However, their quality of life is not as good as that of other working people: overall they are less likely to be satisfied with their work than people without disabilities (62% of them compared with 81%) and to be subject at work to more violence and discrimination (26% compared with 18%). These findings come from the equality indicators of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), published ahead of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December.
