Goods transport in Switzerland declined by 2.2% in 2019
Neuchâtel, 09.02.2021 - The transport performance of goods transport fell by 2.2% in 2019 compared with the previous year. The decrease in road transport was 2.7% and in rail transport 1.4%. About a third of the volume carried by rail was transported in combined transport. These are some of the findings of the goods transport statistics produced by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
