Indirect support for print media: Increase in delivery discounts for regional and local press
Bern, 18.12.2020 - On 18 December, the Federal Council set the level of discounts for deliveries of subscription newspapers and periodicals by Swiss Post. In 2021, the discount for regional and local daily and weekly newspapers will rise to 29 centimes per copy, 2 centimes more than in 2020. This discount is independent of the temporary measures concerning indirect aid to the press. Publications issued by clubs, associations and the like will continue to benefit from a discount of 18 centimes per copy.
