Labour costs in Switzerland: marked differences by economic activity and enterprise size

Neuchâtel, 17.06.2020 - In 2018, average labour costs rose in Switzerland to CHF 61.90 per hour worked in the economy as a whole. Labour costs vary significantly from one economic activity to another and depending on the size of enterprises. They mainly consist of wages and pay, according to the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
