The number of new bankruptcies remained stable in 2019
Neuchâtel, 06.04.2020 - In 2019, the number of bankruptcy proceedings opened against businesses and individuals remained relatively stable compared with 2018. During the same period, the number of bankruptcy proceedings closed and the total financial losses resulting from ordinary and summary bankruptcy proceedings saw an increase. These are some of the latest findings from the debt collection and bankruptcy statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
