Neuchâtel, 19.11.2019 - In 2017, the average household disposable income in Switzerland was CHF 6984 per month. A large part of this amount was used for the consumption of goods and services, namely CHF 5281. Households spent on average CHF 636 on food and non-alcoholic beverages. However, differences can be seen depending on the household type. These are some of the findings from the Household Budget Survey 2017, carried out by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
