4.5% of children in compulsory schooling receive reinforced learning support for special educational needs

Neuchâtel, 29.10.2019 - In the past few years, pupils with special educational needs have increasingly received learning support in standard classes. More than half (53%) of pupils requiring reinforced learning support were integrated into a standard class, 6% received support in a special class and 41% received support in a special school. These are some of the initial findings of the new special education statistics produced by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
