Health in Switzerland: all the key figures over 80 pages

Neuchâtel, 29.10.2019 - In 2017, 26% of the population said that they suffered at home from disturbance linked to transport. During the first half of the decade starting from 2010, almost 40 500 persons developed a cancer each year while mortality linked to this disease declined. In 2017, there were almost 326 000 full-time equivalent jobs in the health services, with some 165 000 jobs in hospitals alone. These are some of the results that can be found in the summary on health published today by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
