President Ueli Maurer to meet US President Donald Trump
Bern, 16.05.2019 - Today, Thursday, 16 May 2019, President Ueli Maurer will travel to Washington D.C. to meet US President Donald Trump. Bilateral issues will be discussed during the meeting.
The meeting between President Ueli Maurer and US President Donald Trump, already planned at the WEF annual meeting, will now take place in Washington at the invitation of the US President. During their meeting, the two presidents will discuss the possibility of Switzerland and the United States holding negotiations on a free trade agreement.
