Bankruptcy statistics 2018 - New increase in the number of bankruptcies opened
Neuchâtel, 11.04.2019 - The number of bankruptcy proceedings opened against businesses and individuals reached a new record level in 2018. At the same time, total financial losses resulting from ordinary and summary bankruptcy proceedings rose by almost 20%. These are some of the latest findings from the debt collection and bankruptcy statistics from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
