Slowdown in cost growth of inpatient hospital care in 2017
Neuchâtel, 23.11.2018 - (FSO) - In 2017 a million people stayed in a Swiss hospital or birthing centre. This represents 12% of the entire Swiss population. For the first time since records began in 1998, a slight decline compared with the previous year was registered. As some patients were treated multiple times, the number of inpatient hospital stays was 1.5 million.
