New website shows influence of Swiss media on opinion-forming
Biel/Bienne, 13.11.2018 - The Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) presented the Medienmonitor Schweiz (Swiss Media Monitor) for the first time on 13 November 2018. The potential of the different types of media – print, radio, TV and online – to influence opinion-forming is presented in the form of an interactive website. The study indicates that television has the greatest influence on opinion-forming, ahead of the press, radio and online media. In addition, Medienmonitor Schweiz also provides information on ownership structures and business ties in the Swiss media market.
