Increased funding for local radio and regional TV stations
Bern, 25.09.2018 - The federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC) is increasing financial support for licensed local radio and regional TV as of 1 January 2019 by CHF 13.5 million. These stations will now receive a total of CHF 81 million a year from the radio-television feefee revenue. This increase implements a Federal Council decision of 18 October 2017.
