Informal talks between Federal Councillor Cassis and EU Commissioner Hahn
Bern, 23.07.2018 - Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis met with EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn, who is in charge of relations with Switzerland at the EU Commission, for talks in Lugano on 23 July.
They discussed bilateral relations between Switzerland and the EU, in particular the ongoing negotiations between the two with regard to reaching an institutional agreement. Mr Cassis informed Mr Hahn about recent Federal Council debates on the institutional negotiations.
The two men have already met on several occasions, including the WEF in Davos in January 2018, to discuss bilateral and international matters.
