Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer receives Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon
Bern, 17.04.2018 - On 17 April 2018, the Head of the Federal Department of Finance (FDF) of the Swiss Confederation, Mr Ueli Maurer received the Minister of Finance of the State of Israel, Mr Moshe Kahlon, on visit in Zurich. Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer and Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon discussed various financial and fiscal issues of common interest.
Based on the close bilateral relations between the Swiss Confederation and Israel, the two ministers reiterated their commitment to further intensify their mutual cooperation in the area of financial services. To this end, they will pursue the regular financial dialogue between their respective ministries, which was established in September 2017 in Tel Aviv. At this occasion, the two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding on deepening cooperation in the area of financial services and a cooperation agreement in the area of fintech was also signed. The next financial dialogue should take place in autumn 2018 in Bern.
