Medical practices and outpatient centres: almost 14 200 points of care in Switzerland
Neuchâtel, 10.04.2018 - (FSO) – Switzerland counted 14 217 points of care in 2015. 48% of these offered specialist medical care, 37% primary care and 16% both types. These sites employed almost 17 600 physicians and 28% of this number obtained their basic training diploma abroad. These are some of the results from the first survey of structural data from medical practices and outpatient centres (MAS survey).
