Gross domestic product by canton in 2015 - Economic activity slowed down in Switzerland in 2015
Neuchâtel, 04.12.2017 - (FSO) – Growth in the gross domestic product (GDP) slowed down in most cantons between 2014 and 2015. Marked positive trends were nonetheless observed in the cantons of Neuchâtel (+4.4%), Schaffhausen (+2.9%), Schwyz (+2.9%) and Zug (+2.8%). The canton of Zurich remains the largest contributor to national growth. These results are taken from initial estimates of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
