Internet use in households 2017 - Swiss population more online than ever

Neuchâtel, 20.11.2017 - (FSO) – In the first quarter 2017, 90% of the adult population in Switzerland used internet, whereas only 84% did so in 2014 when the last survey was conducted. Growth in user numbers is particularly striking among persons aged 65 and over. At the same time, the amount of time spent online by internet users overall has greatly increased. These are just some of the results from the Federal Statistical Office’s survey on internet use in households.
