Swiss Presidency for the French-speaking media regulatory authorities
Biel/Bienne, 26.10.2017 - At the end of the 5th conference of the Network of French-speaking media regulatory authorities (Réseau Francophone des Régulateurs des Médias REFRAM), the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) was awarded the presidency of the Network for the next two years. The conference, held from 24 to 25 October 2017 in Geneva, brought together 69 representatives from 22 French-speaking media regulatory authorities. Organised by OFCOM with the support of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (Organisation internationale de la Francophonie OIF), this event was an opportunity for dialogue on quality issues in the media sector, but also in relation to the training of journalists and regulation.
