Producer and Import Price Index in May 2017 - 0.3% decline in Producer and Import Price Index in May 2017

Neuchâtel, 15.06.2017 - (FSO) – The Producer and Import Price Index fell in May 2017 by 0.3% compared with the previous month, reaching 99.8 points (base December 2015 = 100). This decline is due in particular to lower prices for pharmaceutical products and petroleum products. Compared with May 2016, the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products rose by 0.1%. These are some of the findings from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
