Publication of state financial statements for 2016

Bern, 31.03.2017 - As of 31 March 2017, the state financial statements for 2016 are available in electronic format on the website of the Federal Finance Administration (FFA). The hard copy will be released on 18 April 2017. The figures are also available in the new federal budget data centre and can be displayed graphically. Indicators on the Confederation's operating expenses and the Federal Treasury activity report are published to complement the state financial statements.

The Federal Council adopted the financial statements on 22 March 2017 and submitted them to Parliament. The state financial statements for 2016 give detailed information on the financial situation of the federal budget.

With series of figures from 1990, the new data centre provides detailed information on the financial situation of the federal budget; it makes it possible to search for and graphically display the desired data independently
