Digital conversion of lift telephones and alarm systems at sustainable cost
Bern, 02.12.2016 - The conversion of the analogue telephone network to digital technology also involves modifications to telecommunications equipment in lifts and to alarm systems. However, in a report to Parliament published on 2 December, the Federal Council concluded that the conversion costs for such equipment are sustainable for owners and do not necessitate any extension of the operational phase of the analogue network.
