Gross domestic product by canton in 2013 – All regions contribute to national growth
Neuchâtel, 02.11.2015 - (FSO) – Gross domestic product (GDP) grew in all of Switzerland's major regions between 2012 and 2013. Growth ranged from 1.0% for the region of Northwestern Switzerland to 2.9% for the Zurich region. Among the cantons, Zurich is also the canton which contributed the most to national growth in 2013. These results are taken from the latest estimations of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
