Local radio stations: French-speaking Switzerland receives the most regional information
Biel/Bienne, 24.08.2015 - French-speaking listeners of fee-funded local radio stations receive the most regional information: local radio stations which receive fee-splitting broadcast an average of 36 minutes of regional information per working day in French-speaking Switzerland. In German-speaking Switzerland the average is 25 minutes, whereas in Canton Ticino it is only 16 minutes. These are the results of a study commissioned by the Federal Office of Communications which evaluated programme services in 2014.
