Federal consolidated financial statements for 2014 – an improvement on 2013

Bern, 15.04.2015 - During its meeting today, the Federal Council approved the consolidated financial statements for 2014. The financial situation of the central and decentralized units of the Confederation remains good, with a surplus of CHF 1.3 billion generated for the year. The improvement of CHF 0.3 billion on the previous year was due to the operating result and the result from significant interests.
