"Solar Impulse" Swiss commemorative coin

Bern, 09.03.2015 - The Federal Mint Swissmint is supporting Bertrand Piccard’s and André Broschberg’s project with the “Solar Impulse” commemorative coin and would like to take this opportunity to wish them a successful flight.

To fly around the world using just the energy of the sun is a dream, which, up until recently, still seemed impossible. Solar Impulse wants to take on this challenge today. The Federal Mint Swissmint is dedicating a 20-franc silver coin to this bold project. It is official legal tender and is available in a limited edition at www.swissmintshop.ch
