Household Budget Survey 2011 – Increase in the disposable income

Neuchâtel, 31.05.2013 - (FSO) - The average disposable income of households in Switzerland was CHF 6750 per month in 2011. Over the last few years, the households have seen an increase in their income. Compared with 2006, this corresponds to an increase of CHF 650. The CHF 1475 expended on housing and energy was the largest component of the household budget. These are findings from the Household Budget Survey 2011 conducted by the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
