No internet advertising for the SRG for the time being
Bern, 14.09.2012 - The Federal Council does not yet see any necessity in allowing the SRG SSR to feature advertising on its internet websites. However, the Federal Council would like to give the SRG SSR greater opportunities for editorial content on the internet, so that in future it can continue to meet the needs of its audience and compete in the international environment. It has commissioned DETEC to draw up proposals for a change to the licence and for the establishment of a national media commission.
